What inspired you to run a pub?
Love of real ale
Why should people come to your pub?
It’s a proper, traditional public house
What will we find behind the bar to delight our tastebuds?
9 ever changing real ale handpulls, 3 craft ales always on draught, a selection of traditional ciders
Do you have any regular or occasional events?
Regular live music, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. Pub quiz on a Tuesday. Occasional summer festivals
What are the best & worst parts of the job?
A chance to support local and English breweries. Socialising with locals & friends
You have some time off – what do you do?
Travel the World
Any funny moments you can share?
Last May an Italian heavy rock band played for us & we had a beer on called ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ which was the name of their single. They drank the lot – even thoughthey don’t drink real ale.
