What inspired you to run a pub?
I owned the lease and the previous bar went bust. I refurbished it into the traditional boozer you see today
Why should people come to your pub?
Great value, 4 rotating cask ales & the largest selection of spirits ever
What will we find behind the bar to delight our tastebuds?
On occasions, Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby
Do you have any regular or occasional events?
Just great prices all year round!
What are the best & worst parts of the job?
Seeing a busy pub & buying cask ales
You have some time off – what do you do?
Drink in other pubs
Any funny moments you can share?
Funny peculiar – I buy 6 toilet seats a year for the pub!
What three words best describe your pub?
Great value / Nice customers / A proud establishment
How could CAMRA (local & national) help support you?
Many visit & test our pub out – we always get great comments from CAMRA & its supporters
Tell us you best (or worst) pub joke
My pub is ten minutes from my house, but my house is two hours from the pub
