A good selection of real ales\nBrew Tavern\, Queens Road – Small but sympathetically restored Edwardian cabman’s shelter\, adjacent to the main railway station entrance\nMalt Cross\, St James’s Street – This Grade II listed former Victorian Music Hall was built in 1877. The guest beers are often from local microbreweries\nKean’s Head\, St Mary’s Gate – This cosy one-room pub is owned by Castle Rock brewery. The guest beers always provide a varied choice of styles\nOlde Trip to Jerusalem\, Brewhouse Yard – Famous pub at the bottom of Castle Road\, built into the rock beneath Nottingham Castle\nBarrel Drop\, Hurts Yard – Beers are regularly available from Magpie as well as other microbreweries around the country\nThe Angel\, Stoney Street – Pub and microbrewery (which brews Angel Ales)\nKing William IV\, Eyre Street – A family-run free house that oozes charm and character\n\nSuggested train route is via Stoke – buy a return to Stoke and a return from Stoke to Nottingham \nThe main party will be travelling: 09:52 from Stone\, 10:03 from Stafford\, changing at Stoke

DESCRIPTION:Copied from The CAMRA West Midlands Facebook Page: \nThis year the Regional Mild Trail is coming to Birmingham on Saturday May 11th.\nThere will be a meet up at the Wellington on Bennetts Hill at noon with 2 guided tours heading off from there. \nOne will leave around 1pm\, heading for the Post Office Vaults then the Craven\, The Lamp in Highgate and the Spotted Dog in Digbeth.\nThe other will leave the Welly slightly later\, heading again via the Post Office Vaults to Rock & Roll brewery\, Burning Soul Brewery\, the Gunmakers and the Bull.\nQuite a few of these pubs have agreed to have additional mild’s on\, and Burning Soul will have a rare cask mild available. \nFor those arriving by train at New Street\, the Wetherspoons on the station\, The London North Western will also have a mild not normally seen in their local pubs \n  \n
